The hotel bed was comfortable. However, for a 4-star hotel, the facilities provided were very disappointing. There was no kettle available in the room, the minibar/freezer was not functioning properly, and the water heater had issues as the water was only hot with no proper cold water supply. There was also an unpleasant experience with the bar staff. I only requested some hot water for instant noodles because there was no kettle in the room. Unfortunately, the staff was arrogant and unfriendly. I waited nearly 15 minutes just for hot water, while he appeared much more welcoming and attentive towards local Italian guests. As an English-speaking guest, I felt ignored and poorly treated. While waiting for the coffee machine, he could have easily assisted by providing the hot water. Instead, he simply stood there watching the coffee machine until it finished. As a bartender in a 4-star hotel, staff should be more attentive, efficient, and capable of multitasking while serving guests. To make matters worse, there was not even a single smile or basic courtesy shown afterwards. If this hotel only prioritises local Italian guests, perhaps it should clearly state at the reception that the hotel is only for locals and not for tourists. Very disappointing experience overall.
