Although I miss the old Red Shed, we found the new place nice and a bit more upscale compared to partner bar - Wandos. Bartender was friendly and checked on us repeatedly. Seem to have a nice selection of upscale tequila and bourbon. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Everyone has different stories to share about The Red Shed and/or Wando's going back to at least 1994, Year of the . Time to make new ones. Bar owner and old college roomie, Jay W bought Red Shed and now has Wando's and Jay's (formerly known as The Red Shed). As par for the course, Wando/Jay has known how to throw a good party since at least 1987 back in the days when we were prowling Johnson, Mifflin, West Wash, and occasionally Bowen Court, looking for people selling red cups. Obviously we are a long time past the days of gathering to watch Michael Finley tear it up for Wisconsin, and rooting for Mike Tyson to wreak havoc on his opponents early in the first round and being sorry when he did because we just blew our money on PPV. And now The storied Red Shed slides back into the ghosts of bars past along with the likes of Joe Hart's, Madhatters, Bermudas, and R & R Station (among others). They don't serve food other than popcorn at Jay's at this point ...but who cares? If you're that hungry, you just leave and walk half a block to Wando's where you can eat till your heart's content. The crowd's the same (an eclectic mix of college students and alumni, Badger sports fans of all ages, locals, and also you-- when you get your butt down here. So wipe away your tears-- you're not that old (YET), and come wash the owies away by imbibing upon your spirit of choice with one of the best guys I know. Love you brother. Warning: Fun times and new memories ahead. Where the hell else do you want to watch a game if you don't have Peacock ? Tennessee got lucky. We'll be ready for them at the Dance, right Coach? *Also: Wear Red and White. You'll blend in. **And: Please tip your bartenders...many of them live off booze and Ramen like we used to.
