We appreciate the thoughtful rundown, and we’re glad we delivered on location, dog-friendliness, blackout shades, and keeping things remarkably quiet during Fourth of July fireworks! Where we clearly missed the mark was the bed, two nights of uncomfortable sleep is absolutely not the experience we want to send anyone home with. We’ll definitely be following up with our team on the mattress in that room. Our Original property embraces its classic motor-lodge layout and compact rooms but we completely understand that the size and exterior-entry setup won’t be the right fit for every traveler. We’re sorry the overall experience didn’t earn us a spot in your Portland rotation, and we appreciate the candid feedback.
