The Leif Erikson Statue at Shilshole.

Koshari is a restaurant that makes you feel at home regardless of where you’re joining from. We were warmly greeted by the owners upon arriving, and they helped us curate an incredible meal. We got their signature dish and baba ghannouj with the freshest fluffiest pita I’ve ever had. We also got karkadeh, which was so refreshing, as well as vegan baklava and rice pudding for dessert. All of the food was fresh with well balanced flavors and textures. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and I’m so excited to return! We decided to try out a new restaurant on a whim and had an amazing dinner at Koshari tonight. They serve authentic Lebanese and Egyptian food. We got the lentil soup, Koshari bowl, falafel meal, and loubya bzeit. Everything was outstanding and very delicious. The owners also had incredible house made hot sauces and they were proud to share they were using authentic ingredients. The star of the show was Sahlab dessert beverage, which a milk drink made with delicate flavors of orange blossom water, rose water, and mastic, topped with cinnamon, coconut, and nuts. I'm so glad we gave this place a try and supported a family owned business. We'll be back for sure. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Lentil Soup, Sahlab Seasonal, Egyptian Koshari Bowl Vegan, Falafel Plate with Dip & Pickles Vegan, Golden Lentil Soup with Veggies & Cumin Dietary restrictions: Great for gluten free folks.

Delicious vegan food and the staff are so so incredibly kind and welcoming. The vegan baklava is a favorite, but the Sahlab with coconut milk this last week was AMAZING. So tasty and cozy Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
