As most of you know my husband Greg is a truck driver. He has been driving a truck for 40 years now sacrificing his family time to make sure everyone gets their milk or their groceries or the swimming supplies !! Right now more than ever these truck drivers are giving all!! They are going out there and delivering those precious commodities that we all need. Risking their own health as well as their families health!! What has gotten me so upset this morning is Greg pulled up to KRYSTALS in COLLINS this morning to get him a sack of crystals to take with him on the road. He drives a Walmart truck. He assumed they would serve him as all the other Wonderful restaurants are doing. Wendy’s and McDonalds, Roadhouse. So many restaurants are going out of their way to take care of the truckers and for that I am eternally thankful!! But not KRYSTALS in Collins. He was told if he couldn’t get that big rig through their drive thru he just wasn’t gonna get any !!! Shame on you Krystal. If it weren’t for truck drivers your doors would be shut and you would be out of a job !!! You go home every night. My husbands gone 5!! Some drivers are gone weeks!! Those men and women are someone’s husband, wife, Daddy, granddaddy!! Grandma!! They are out there risking everything!! Some of the finest people I know are behind the wheels of those trucks!! They would, and are doing everything they can for all of us!! Please remember that when it might be a slight inconvenience to serve them or bend a little bit to help them out!!
