Went for a drive to Pt Leo and thought we’d try our luck getting lunch at Laura. We hadn’t booked ahead since we weren’t sure we’d make it in time, but we walked in and were lucky enough to get a table. We went with the signature menu. The food was beautifully presented and tasted good. The service really stood out too - it was attentive, warm, and welcoming from start to finish. The dining room is a little small, but the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Overall, we were happy with the experience and would definitely go back. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $200+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The pricing for two courses is difficult to justify. While the views are beautiful, you can enjoy a similar outlook from the main dining room, so they don't necessarily add much to the experience. Service was average—pleasant enough, but not particularly attentive or memorable. Overall, it's a venue best suited to those seeking a lengthy, multi-course dining experience. We went to Laura Restaurant the night of our wedding, and they made the experience as magical as we had hoped it would be. The service was outstanding. Our every need catered to, without the mid-moutful "how is everything?" interruptions. The environment was beautiful, and at night a lovely vista across to Phillip Island (I think). I'd love to see it by day. But OMG the food. And that's why you're reading this review, because BOY HOWDY was the food amazing. The delivery of flavours, textures, hot, cool, and freshness was beyond anything I've had before. I think Laura Restaurant has ruined food for me. And this isn't a bad thing.
