I travel for work and decided to stop here because they had good reviews. 4.7 . My fish and shrimp was just like I asked, crispy. The greens and Mac and cheese was good as well. Customer Service from Issys was great . She was kind and friendly and courteous. Great Restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Head to Mama G’s Kitchen for some incredible soul food! Coming from Utah where good soul food restaurants are non-existent, this place is a gem. Not only is it affordable, but the portions are generous. Their homemade potato chips are a standout, and they even taste great the next day. The atmosphere is lively, with live music next door at the bar adding to the fun vibe. Meeting the owner was a delight; she's a vibrant and charming person who clearly takes pride in both the food and service they offer. We are from Seattle and are visiting family in Arkansas and Missouri. We had Catfish and fried Okra at 2 different locations that was good. Then we at at Mama G's. Oh My.. the catfish was Delicious. They all had a nice about of fish in each piece. And So good. And the Okra was the best by far. If we return to Springfield We WILL RETURN TO MAMA G'S
