This restaurant serves authentic Shanghai-style food. The xiao long bao were delicious, juicy and full of flavour. They also have many different ways of cooking seafood, and everything we tried was very fresh. The prices were reasonable, and the service was great too. Will definitely come back again! Located at Sydney Fish Market, Shop E2/1 Bridge Road, Glebe, New South Wales, Australia I think this is the only Asian restaurant at the new Fish Market, besides the Sushi bars. I was quite happy with my lunch there. I had the Sichuan Chilli Chicken (I know, why have chicken at a fish market? ), I came as a carer for an aged care group and felt like chicken. Having said all this, my experience overall was very pleasant. My meal was lovely, very tasty. There’s seating both inside and outside but definitely more seating outside. It’s definitely not cheap, my chicken, a steam rice and a soft drink was $41.00 but I don’t think you can expect anything outlet at the market to be cheap. I would definitely recommend if someone asked me where is a good place to eat. Thumbs up! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $40–60 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Had a really pleasant dining experience at Mani Restaurant. The environment is calm and comfortable, which is quite rare for a spot in the Fish Market area. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, and everything we tried was well executed. Service was also attentive and friendly. Definitely a nice place to enjoy Chinese cuisine in a more refined setting. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
