Extremely disappointing customer service experience. I called Marinate Korean BBQ simply trying to obtain a copy of my receipt for a purchase I had already made. Instead of helping, the employee who identified himself as the manager was rude, dismissive, and argumentative throughout the conversation. I explained multiple times that I was only requesting a receipt. Rather than attempting to look up the transaction using my order information, he began accusing me of having a separate order and made assumptions that were completely unrelated to my request. I was not asking for a refund, free food, or anything else—just a copy of my receipt. When I asked to speak with a supervisor or someone above him, he refused and ultimately hung up on me. The most disappointing part wasn’t even that I didn’t get the receipt—it was the complete lack of professionalism and basic customer service. As a paying customer, I expected to be treated with respect and to receive reasonable assistance. Instead, I was met with hostility and unwillingness to help. I hope ownership or upper management reviews how customers are being treated because this experience was unacceptable.
