$22.75 for eggs Benedict with bacon - 2 eggs & 2 very small pieces of eye bacon on toasted ciabatta. Whilst cooked perfectly with a lovely Hollandaise sauce the portion of bacon was less than generous, especially at that price. When I asked the manageress about whether this was “normal” she did not even engage with me, tersely asking one of the staff to “get” the cook. The cook duly came out & the reason given for such small pieces of bacon was “it shrinks when cooked”. Surely this should be factored in & portion size increased to compensate for “shrinkage”. Not worth the high price! Then, I had ordered a pot of tea for one, which did not arrive. I asked where it was, again the manageress did not engage with me but passed on the query to another member of staff. I had also ordered a blueberry danish & asked for it to be warmed & served after I had finished my eggs Benedict. Apparently, they thought that I wanted my tea with the Danish, which was not what I asked for. So, Danish arrives & it’s apricot, back it goes. Tea arrived, good strong pot, no complaints there. Danish arrives, has clearly been microwaved as it’s very soggy. Pastries should surely be at least a little crispy. Anyway, it’s still sitting in my stomach like a stone. The young ladies working behind the counter & waitressing were beyond reproach, all friendly, polite & pleasant, especially since it was very busy. Disappointing value for money (bacon) & poor presentation (Danish). Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

The young lady that served me a sandwich just before closing today was delightful and very helpful.in fact I was a bit taken aback by how helpful she was even taped up my sandwich so it wouldn't spill while I was riding home.i dunno she just seemed to give a !";!!"". thanks lass.
