We had the pleasure of being served by Okta. Her smile, kindness, and energy helped make this evening truly special. We chose the three-course option, and the dishes perfectly reflected our lives. The setting is incredible, and the food and cocktails are excellent. We just arrived in Bali, and this is already our third visit here: we were here last year, and we’ll be back at Merlin. I firmly believe in energy and spiritual connections, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better than to be served by Okta tonight! Thank you and well done, Okta. I hope all tourists are as warm and kind as you, because you deserve the best customers. The general manager is amazing and a very wise soul. Thoroughly enjoyed a whimsical and magical late lunch experience here. The food and drinks were exquisite. The desserts were marvellous and flavourful. Shout out to the gentleman (?owner/manager?) who gave us a complimentary dessert (white choc mousse) to try- it was absolutely delicious! The only thing I would change about this experience, is that I would dress up as an Elf next time I’m visiting this place. We walked into Merlin’s with a bit of skepticism, as we weren't sure if a dinner based on a tarot card reading would be "amazing" or just plain corny. As it turns out, the concept is brilliant. We opted for the three-course menu, and it was easily the standout meal of our trip. We ate exactly what corresponded with our readings, which led us to dishes we never would have chosen ourselves. For entree we had the Lamb Kofta, Perfectly seasoned and savoury, and the Watermelon Salad, which was a total flavor explosion, refreshing and unique. For Mains we had the chicken which was incredibly juicy with a fascinating gravy, while the steak was so tender it felt like butter. There is also an extensive selection of drinks to suit any palate. The dining space is beautiful and intimate, creating the perfect backdrop for the evening. What truly sets Merlin’s apart, however, is the staff. They are incredibly attentive and go out of their way to ensure you’re having a great time, especially if you’re there for a special occasion. Before you leave, make sure to browse the shop downstairs. It’s filled with stunning, high-quality items. The jewelry is beautiful, but expect to pay a premium price.
