I just wanna say the food here? Is oh My god. SUPERB it tastes so amazing. Everytime I'm reminded of it, it just makes me smile. But I do understand the negative comments on their staff and service. They do seem like they don't care nor they don't know what they're doing. But proper training. Would make it work. I remembered asking to have extra menus for the other party were with. We're 4 people. And I think they only gave 2? asking for every little thing for proper accommodation, and they looked kinda confused with stuff...(I dunno probably new?I dunno). so I hope they handle that because the food was oh. My . God. It's just. It was THAT good. That's why I still remember it. But maybe were just lucky on what we ordered. We ordered baked scallops. Two-tone squid (it kinda looks like a calamares) we also ordered like crispy pancit. It's seasoned well(but not really my fave, there's something...missing in comparison to the other two that is just....top tier perfect. not my order but yeah it's hard, but it was pretty fun? There's a whole performance of a staff pouring the sauce over the whole thing. The milk tea or milk shake the chocolate one is also a meh? For CHILDREN... but personally for adults I kinda like it cuz it's not super sweet. But those two other stuff we ordered was so. SO good. 10/10 would come back again just for those. Last Saturday, April 18, our family dined at Mesa in Sta. Rosa. It was a special occasion for us since this was the first time in a while that our whole family was complete, and we chose Mesa because it has always been our tradition to enjoy Filipino cuisine together. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the most disappointing dining experience we’ve had. The crispy pata we ordered was extremely tough and almost inedible. It was difficult to enjoy the dish, and it raised concerns about the quality of the meat used. We brought this up with the staff and requested to speak with the manager, Charles. When we explained the issue, we were told that the meat had simply become tough because it had cooled down. This explanation was hard to accept, especially considering that only about 10–15 minutes had passed since the dish was served. A freshly cooked crispy pata should not become that tough in such a short time. Before leaving, I noticed what seemed to be an operations manager (named Jr.) present at the restaurant. I requested to speak with him, but it took around two minutes for him to approach us, despite being nearby. While he did offer to replace the dish, I declined, as my intention was not to receive compensation but to understand how such issues are addressed and prevented. Unfortunately, no clear resolution or assurance was provided. Overall, the experience was very disappointing—not just because of the food quality, but also due to how the concern was handled. I hope the management of Mesa and Foodee Global Concepts takes this feedback seriously and improves both food quality and customer service. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
