My friends and I enjoyed our first visit to the rooftop at Quirk hotel. The drinks were very good, the food good although limited selection, and the service was excellent. The noise level was too high for comfortable conversation even when we were the only table of customers! The views were superb.

Rooftop is a relaxed location. Not really a spot for an intimate conversation. Two people are seated across a table, sitting in their own sofa chairs, so have to sort of holler to each other. The rooftop, unfortunately, doesn't have great ambiance. The hotel is very spartan, but the minimalist vibe just makes the rooftop appear like, well, a rooftop. It could really be improved with maybe greenery and other vegetation; dividers of some sort - something to break up the space. Cocktails were good and presentation was excellent. Hummus with bread and veggies as an appetizer was exceptional. Price seemed high for the experience.

We had a fantastic birthday dinner at the Quirk Rooftop! The views were fantastic, music was upbeat but not too loud, and our server was attentive and kind. We had a reservation and were quickly seated. It is a bit on the pricier side, but you are definitely paying for that incredible view of Charlottesville. We will definitely be back!
