Absolutely fantastic ! The food is full of authentic Turkish flavours, perfectly cooked and generously portioned. The staff are warm and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting, exactly what you want from a proper Turkish restaurant. One of the best in the area, highly recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Honestly, I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. The lamb shish was clearly defrosted and far from tender or juicy as it should have been. Instead, it had a strange texture, more like liver than properly grilled lamb. The ribs were also extremely tough and chewy, making them difficult to separate from the bone and almost impossible to enjoy. One of the waitresses was friendly, but unfortunately she didn’t seem very familiar with the menu. Later, another waitress with a probably Russian accent came over and appeared quite annoyed when I simply asked a question about the beer. The biggest disappointment was that this was supposed to be our son’s birthday dinner. On our previous visit, we ate at the Ottoman restaurant next door and the food was excellent, so our expectations were much higher. Sadly, this experience completely ruined what should have been a special family celebration. The only positive aspects were the cocktails, the beer, and the appetizers, which were all perfectly fine. I honestly don’t understand how this restaurant has a 4.8 rating based on our experience. Perhaps we visited on a bad day, but the quality of the lamb was surprisingly poor. We’ve had much better lamb from local takeaway restaurants at a fraction of the price. Considering the prices charged here, the food quality was simply not acceptable. To provide some context, this particular time of year is notoriously difficult for sourcing premium lamb, as this season's livestock is not yet fully ready from our local suppliers. While we always strive to secure the highest quality cuts available, it is clear that what we served you fell below our usual high standards, and we are incredibly disappointed to hear about the texture and quality you experienced. We also appreciate your feedback regarding our service. We are glad one of our team members was friendly, but we will certainly address your notes with the rest of our staff to ensure all guests are met with the warm, knowledgeable, and attentive service they deserve, regardless of how busy we are. It is heartening to hear that you enjoyed the cocktails, beer, and appetizers, but we know that does not make up for a disappointing main course. Had a fantastic meal tonight at Saray Turkish Restaurant. We were served by the lovely Inese who made the night by finding us a table at short notice and recommending us the food, which was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Already looking forward to our next meal there. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
