I needed somewhere to sit for a few hours between appointments before dinner, and there aren’t many options in the area, so Sevente seemed like a great choice. I’ve been here a few times before in the summer, mostly grabbing takeaway while walking past the flower markets. This time I came around 4pm planning to stay until about 7pm, especially since Google Maps shows a closing time of 11pm. I got an iced black for £3.70 in my own reusable cup, and the ambience was perfect. Calm, comfortable, and ideal for some light laptop work. As the afternoon went on, it started to feel like it would naturally transition into a bar setting, or at least that’s what I expected. Then at 5pm, we were told they were closing. After checking with staff, it turns out the later closing time only applies when they have events on. That’s fair, but quite confusing from a visitor’s perspective. I had planned my time around the listed hours, so it was pretty inconvenient having to suddenly pack up and find somewhere else, especially needing somewhere laptop friendly. Still a lovely space and nice people, but it would really help to have clearer and more accurate opening hours listed here. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
