Extremely disappointing experience at Shater Restaurant & Cafeteria (Al Qusais). We waited more than 40 minutes as a group of 6 (with family and kids), only to be given a cramped table meant for 4 and told to “adjust” by squeezing in extra chairs. Completely unacceptable. What is more frustrating is that staff are actively approaching customers from the car parking area to bring them in, but once inside, this is the kind of poor service provided. We raised the issue with the staff managing seating, but he was very rude, disrespectful, and showed zero concern. We also approached the person at the reception/billing counter, and his behavior was exactly the same—no respect or willingness to help. This kind of attitude is not acceptable, especially in a family dining place. The only positive was another customer who kindly helped us by exchanging seats. Otherwise, the experience would have been even worse. Terrible customer service, no basic courtesy, and very poor seating management.
