Customer service is terrible!!! I took my concern directly to the owner and he was very defensive focused on defending his daughters/cashiers actions. My wife called in my order, after I learned that she ordered the wrong wing sauce she calls the establishment back to modify the order. Originally, instead of swapping the wings- we asked to add a 10 piece lemon pepper wings- to learn it was an additional $18. We declined and finally asked if we can swap out the wings- we were told no, which is fine. My biggest concern is their reaction off of my wife responding “we just won’t pick the order up.” Daughter/cashier hangs the phone up on my wife’s face, so I call back to rectify the situation, and attempt to add on to my order- imagine that! The customer having to rectify the situation where they are spending money at the establishment! Daughter hangs up on me also! As I’m talking to the owner while picking up my order- owner continues to tell me everything my wife did/said wrong, justifying his daughters/cashiers actions. My wife is not a confrontational person, the only thing she said wrong was “we will not pick up the order if you can’t modify it.” If this is enough to be disrespectful and hang up in our face, then Smackers wouldn’t survive outside of Memphis! Their defense was “my wife should know what I want before ordering”(maybe so…), “my wife, my wife, my wife”….. NO ACCOUNTABILITY!!!!! They did give me a free 10 piece boneless. I’m a business man myself and use to be a HUGE advocate for SMACKERS because of their great food. Moving forward…. My truth will be shared. You are in the business of customer service and satisfaction! Start acting like it, know your role! Will not return. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

Fried chicken sandwich was burned and poor tasting. Change your fryer oil. Sausage sandwich was not very good. Hush puppies were ok. Potato salad was good. Overall bad review.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. We ordered online and were given a pickup time of 6:45. We received our order around 7:15, with no updates given during the wait and no “sorry for the delay.” But maybe the food would be good? When we got home I found that the double cheeseburger I ordered had no cheese, the ketchup I requested somehow became mustard, and the bacon I paid extra for was nowhere in sight. My wife didn’t much like her food (boneless wings and sliders) either. I’m usually very forgiving in reviews; anyplace can have a bad day. But the mountain of mistakes here and the lack of attentiveness (or care) from the staff is hard to excuse. I don’t see us going back.
