I recently came into to this stater bros to buy a case of Budweiser. I had came with my cousin because he was also buying flowers from here. The lines were getting long and I told my cousin to put his flowers on my transaction. The lady working at the register(shown in the picture) then asked my cousin for his id as well. I asked her why and she accused me of attempting to buy alcohol for him. I then explained to her that I was trying to save time by just doing 1 transaction because all he had was flowers. I was then called a liar and refused service. Being called a liar was extremely disrespectful and I asked her to call her manager. She then made us wait about 5 minutes for the manager to come. I told her that when the manager came, I wanted to tell my side of the story first because I had a feeling that the lady working the register would not be truthful at all. When the manager finally showed up, the lady working the register immediately ignored my request. I had asked the manager to let me speak first but she asked me to step away. I heard the lady working the cash register accuse me of attempting to buy alcohol for my cousin and the manager never gave me the opportunity to explain the situation. I believe this woman shouldn’t have a job at this company. Your employees should always be truthful and fair, but unfortunately in this situation that didn’t happen.
