Won't be returning until Subway rethinks this setup. The refit has completely changed the customer experience and feels the opposite of what Subway was built around. The counter is now blocked by ordering screens, so you can't properly see the ingredients or easily interact with staff. Thankfully, the gentleman on the till let us order manually, but you just stand there waiting for your sandwich to be made with no involvement. While we were there, an older customer struggled to view the options and was simply told to look over the screens. Out of seven customers, five chose not to use the ordering stations. The food was fine and the staff were friendly. This isn't their fault. The issue is a poorly thought-out, anti-social ordering system. Please sort it out, Subway. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Came today for lunch ordered 6inch toasted spicy Italian with amercian cheese,salad and bbq sauce on self service. I was very disappointed no cheese, not toasted ,bread was hard hardly any salad. Waited about 10 mins whilst waiting they also got another person's order wrong. I paid£4.99 for it won't be returning it was a rip off. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Dietary restrictions: Whilst there someone went back to counter as he stated egg allergy and they had put mayo on his sandwich.

They have recently added self service points which is a good idea but they had completely blocked the view of your sandwich being made which I don’t like. It is so much better when you can see the cleanliness of the food and food preparation area. Plus they have got rid of the customer toilet!! Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
