This is our second recent visit for the fabulous taster menu. Last year for lunch this year for dinner. Both times the service and food were exemplary.The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and service is just right. Had the wine flight and the wines went so well with the courses. The Asti with dessert was awesome. Will be back soon hopefully to stay the night. Thank you for making our night special with the congratulations plate for my daughter and her boyfriend’s Masters graduation.

We chose the seasonal lobster menu, and it was exactly the right food on exactly the right day.It began beautifully with a lovely Norfolk Crunch Roll accompanying the hummus, followed by a superb heritage tomato salad and then the lobster. But the unexpected stars of the plate were the crab fritters served alongside it, a bright zip of lime tingling on the tongue and dancing a merry whizz with the sweet lobster. Even the fries were excellent.Then came the raspberry panna cotta with miniature strawberries and meringue. Quite simply, the best panna cotta I’ve ever had. Historic, as someone might say.At £48 per person, this felt like dining with the gods at an almost unbelievable price. Exceptional value for food of this quality.Service was excellent, the plates properly hot, and the whole meal was a delight. My only tiny quibble ~ both the fizz and the Chenin Blanc arrived just a tad warmer than they should have been.Otherwise, magnificent. If summer could be put on a plate for a lunch celebrating our anniversary, this came remarkably close.

After visiting East Ruston gardens we wanted to find a place for Sunday lunch. We had heard of the Ingham Swan but hadn’t visited. The food, service and ambiance were outstanding. The chicken liver parfait was sublime. We will certainly be back.
