Restaurant was closed for refurbishment, even though my booking was accepted. I was also not notified by the restaurant that it was actually closed and therefore we turned up for our booking and were really disappointed. I have been in touch with Sydney Rocks but am yet to have a response. Really disappointing as I enjoyed my previous visit but this has really put me off visiting again. It's such a small thing to close the booking option when you are closed or to at least let people know when they have booked.

The food is exceptional. Wonderful flavours, beautifully presented, cooked then and there in the open kitchen. The quality of ingredients and the passion (a word which is greatly over used but is appropriate in the case of the Chef Proprietor, Stav) used to create the dishes makes for truly excellent food. There is also a very imaginative and immaculately sourced wine list. Sydney Rocks is not cheap, but more shoukd it be for this standard of food. Lovely staff, lovely ambience. Not what you expect in a North Lobdon suburb, and all the more of a find for that!

Went for a friends birthday. All the food was outstanding and well presented. Our least favourite was the black houmus but all other dishes were so tasty and well prepared. Lots of sharing plates. It was a quiet evening only 2 tables in as unfortunately they had had a lot of cancellations but normally I understand it is a busy restaurant. We will definitely be back.
