I love Tom's Drive In. I grew up with Tom's in my old neighborhood and have always appreciated it for what it is. It's fast food, first of all, but it's pretty decent for what it is. The service is always great at this location and the atmosphere inside is that of an old diner, which is fun. In terms of food quality, the fries are some of my favorite fast food fries in the area, even if they are hit or miss on how long they cook them for. If they hit that sweet spot of slightly floppy and add the right amount of salt, they are phenomenal. If cheese curds are up your alley, I really enjoy theirs as well. They are pretty close to Culver's cheese curds in texture but have a different flavor, not better or worse, just different. I enjoy them very much either way! I also would recommend the chicken wraps, though the wraps are a bit large and can easily be split if needed. The kids meals offers are great, too, since they come with a cookie for the kiddos and give a decent amount of food. It's a nice treat from time to time. And that leads us to the soft serve. The twist cones from Tom's are my favorite soft serve in the area. The chocolate and vanilla blend perfectly with one another! It's a problem, though, because they have a TON of other flavors I really want to try, but it's so hard to resist that twist. They have plenty of sweet options, though, so definitely check out those options if you have room for dessert. Also, they are one if the few fast food places in the area that offer Diet Dr. Pepper, which I appreciate greatly. They do have outdoor seating, but the outdoor tables have always been a tad uncomfortable for me at all Tom's locations. All in all, if you're up for some fast food, burgers and fries style, I'd recommend Tom's in a heartbeat. Price per person: $1–10 Recommended dishes: Fries, Cheese Curds, Cones, Pizza Burger, Flavor Cones, Sundaes

Fantastic sevice. Went during the lunch hour rush and the staff ran like a well oiled machine. I assume it was the team lead asked the employees how they were doing and was remained cool under pressure providing very pleasant smiling service. Xavier had an excellent upbeat tone and attitude. He really truly seemed to enjoy doing his job. The courtesy he displayed is pretty rare nowadays in any retail environment. Kudos to him!! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
