Arriving at the address didn't inspire much hope, as Turkish Gem is in a run down food hall amongst 5 or 6 other stalls. But I'd read such amazing reviews online so we were determined to give it a try, and it was the right decision. We ordered Chicken on Chips, a mixed Pita (baked in house daily), and their famous garlic bread, which is also baked in house. Their portions are huge, and neither of us could finish. I brought home 1/2 my pita and garlic bread as leftovers. The chef is so lovely, and has a passion and loads of experience with Turkish cuisine, and it shows. Can't recommend highly enough if you're looking for a casual meal.
