Due to my normal chippy having an hour long queue while they apparently preferentially prepared delivery orders I decided to try this chippy as it had recently changed hands. I only had sausage and chips, but the chips were fabulous. Slightly crunchy and not at all greasy. The sausage was a chip shop sausage. I'd recommend giving it a go. It's also quite a bit cheaper than the alternative. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

The best chippy in town, the £1.50 cones of chips get us all through long days at sixth form and the £5 mini fish and chip deals are a favourite. Big shout out to the owner who is an absolute legend!! Big up The Village Fish Bar Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
