I went by today and It is no longer there. Double checked the address and there is a different fish restaurant that opened. Went up the street to Chargrilled Charlie's which Yelp doesn't even shoe exists in Coogee. I am having a difficult time with the credibility of Yelp in Sydney so far.

Second time here and I had the same issues both times.Things we liked both visits:- Salmon was good grilled - Service was nice and friendly they even offered to cook my salmon again if I wasn't happy with the end result, but thankfully it was cooked to perfection and I didn't have to take them up on the offer. - corn and special sauce was delicious.- bok choy although I thought may be a little boring was actually very yummy! - calamaris were ok nothing extraordinary- chips were good This we didn't like BOTH visits:-rice was pretty much inedible both times as it had so many clumpy crusty hard dried bits throughout it.It was as if it sat in an open pot for a day and then they mixed it with all the top layer of dried rice and still served it...- partners batter on the fish was too oily, heavy and gluggy he ended up taking all the batter off as it was not good.- both times were quite slow, first time we understood as it was busy but the second time there really wasn't that many people and it took just as long.Not sure I would go back ...

This is my go to seafood place in Coogee. Trip isn't complete until I make a stop at A Fish called Coogee. I've never had a bad meal there. I like to try a different fish each time I go, but always have the boc choy and chips for a side. I haven't tried the grilled corn, but it looks delicious. Can't wait for my next trip to Sydney.
