Awesome food, super fast, and friendly service. They even threw in some rib tips as a free sample and they were super tender and delicious. I ordered an italian beef with medium peppers and mozzarella as well as a chicago dog with all the fixings. Peppers were whole banana peppers or something similar. I prefer giardiniera but it is good to switch it up sometimes. I would definitely come back next time I’m in town! Tino’s on Sheridan Road in Racine gets 4 stars from me. I’ll be honest, the food itself didn’t blow me away. The gyros and fries were just average, and overall I’d probably rate the food closer to a 3. But the people behind the counter? That’s where Tino’s really shines. They were genuinely pleasant, engaging, and made me feel like I was more than just another customer passing through. There was an easygoing, down-to-earth energy in the restaurant that I really appreciated. The staff made the visit enjoyable, and sometimes that counts for a lot. I actually left thinking, I’d come back just to see these people again. The food could use a little more excitement, but the hospitality was top-notch.
