Arrived at 4;20pm and could not get a coffee, despite Google saying it was open till 5pm. Very disappointed.

I came in after a long shift hoping to treat myself to a sweet drink, especially since I’ve heard great things about this place. When I arrived, they were close to closing time, which I completely understand as someone who works in hospitality at Dome. There were still other customers ordering, so I decided to place an order as well. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The staff member at the counter seemed rushed, and after waiting about 10 minutes, my drink was accidentally given to the wrong person before eventually being handed to me. By that point, it didn’t feel very organised. The drink itself looked nothing like what was advertised. It came without whipped cream, despite the photo clearly showing it. When I asked about it, I was told that “some people don’t like it,” but I wasn’t asked for my preference. They added a very small amount after I mentioned it — barely enough to make a difference. For almost $10, I expected better presentation and attention to detail. The counter area and general environment also appeared messy, which added to the rushed and unwanted feeling of the visit. I understand that photos are for advertising purposes and may not be exact, but there should still be a reasonable resemblance to what’s being served. If a drink is shown with toppings and specific presentation, that’s what customers expect to receive — especially at that price point. The drink itself tasted okay, but overall the experience did not match the reputation or expectations. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves consistency. I’m not trying to be a bother I just paid quite a lot and I would treat a costumer a lot better especially me being a child :) Meal type: Other Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Ordered a carmelatte no taste of carmel it tasted like a normal coffee $6.50 for a small size....Not going there again. Staff look pretty unhappy too. I used to absolutely live in the Carousel one when it was there, best service best coffee.
Really disappointing
