Un paseo admirando The Lowline Lab es lo menos que puedes esperar tras cenar en este bar. Ven a este establecimiento y prueba sus cocinas rusa y española. Una serie de críticos destacan que puedes pedir aquí con confianza una sabrosa ternera stroganoff, una generosa carne de cangrejo y un bien trabajado vino georgiano. Te va a encantar su comida, especialmente su delicado pastel de miel, sus atrayentes tortitas syrniki y sus caseros crepes. Merece la pena probar aquí una extraordinaria cerveza o un excelente vino de naranja. Tal y como la mayoría de clientes dicen, su zumo es bastante sensacional.

Very tasty Eastern European food. The borsch and beef stroganoff were very tasty . Kids liked the dumplings.

This place is a Eastern European hidden gem. The service was amazing, the whole experience felt so personalized and the food was super authentic. Go on Sunday for all day happy hour!!

Tzarevna is the definition of a hidden gem. Imagine an amazing restaurant with delicious food, impeccable service, and a cute and cozy ambiance charging affordable prices in LES without the crazy crowds? Unheard of really. On a Friday night, a few tables were occupied and the volume was low to moderate making the atmosphere comfortable and relaxed unlike other restaurants on Friday nights. We were greeted by the owner(?) and seated immediately for our reservation. We ordered the borscht, wagyu sliders, classic khachapurri, veal and pork dumplings, and potato vereniki. The owner is a natural salesman (in the good hospitality way where you don't realize you're being sold to) and convinced us to try the Georgian wine tasting. There was really nothing to complain about with the food since everything we had was amazing. The borscht was super umami, the wagyu sliders were bite-sized flavor bombs, the dumpling dishes were delicious and hearty, and the khachapurri is cheesy eggy goodness in a beautiful bread boat. The food combined with the wine is the perfect cozy experience anyone can ask for. I do think the food on the menu is more hearty and would lend itself better to colder temperatures but is still a treat regardless of when you have it. The only other thing to note is that the khachapurri is enormous and can be shared amongst two people with at most 2 appetizers (if you want to be comfortably full and not stuffed). Aside from the food, the dining experience is made so much better because the owner is very personable and entertaining on top of being attentive. He checked in periodically during our meal to make sure everything was good. The other waitress was also really friendly and attentive and checked up on us from time to time. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back in the winter to enjoy the amazing food and warm hospitality at Tzarevna.
